About
Housen-ji Temple was constructed in 1430 by the father of Hojo Soun, and was built to be the family burial temple of the Ise family.
The temple is now number 16 of the Seto Inland Sea 33 Kannon Places of Worship, and a great place to visit, especially in the autumn, where the leaves of the tree in its entryway becomes a bright vermillion red.
