Buses are a great way to hop around Ibara. Here's all you need to know about Ibara's buses, including timetables and fares.
Within Ibara, there are two different buses companies running, the Aiai City Bus, and the Hokushin Bus.
The Aiai Bus has shorter and cheaper routes, whereas the Hokushin Bus has longer and more expensive routes.
It is a good idea to look at and use the both of them for your trip.
There is also the Ikasa Bus Company, offering routes from Ibara to surrounding cities.

Hokushin Bus
The Hokushin Bus company runs a total of 8 bus routes through Ibara, specialising in long distances, compared to the Aiai City Bus. The fare for this bus costs anywhere from 150 to 500 yen, depending on distance. When you enter the bus take a ticket, and then pay the amount corresponding to that ticket number on your way out.

Ikasa Bus Company
Ikasa Bus Company is a bus company servicing the cities of Kasaoka and Ibara. From Ibara, there are two bus routes, one to Kasaoka and one to Fukuyama (Hiroshima Prefecture).
