Japanese Language Classes

 

The Japanese language class is run by volunteer staff from the Ibara City International Association. It was created to be a place where foreign residents in Ibara could gather and study Japanese together.

The lessons are conducted in small groups. Students are free to set their own study goals, so everyone has their own individual goals. For example, if you show up and say, "I want to start by learning Japanese greetings!" or "I want to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test!" the kind and helpful volunteers will help you study according to your goals.

In addition to Japanese language education, you can also experience authentic Japanese culture under the guidance of the teachers, through events such as cherry blossom viewing parties and calligraphy experiences.
